Future of Transport Hackathon, hosted by Ajman Transport Authority
Two days in the UAE Camp for Artificial Intelligence, built on Ajman's open transport data.
On 19 and 20 August 2026, Mohamed Al Owais took part in the Future of Transport Hackathon, organised by the Ajman Transport Authority as part of the UAE Camp for Artificial Intelligence. Seven teams worked on three challenges using Ajman's open transport data, and went from raw data to working prototypes in under two days.
In the room, the conversation also covered agentic AI and WhatsApp capabilities as a general solution for transport, not as an Avano product.
The room mixed developers, designers, transport specialists and doctors. The strongest ideas were on predictive planning and agentic automation for public transport.
He also met the Authority's General Director and its head of digital transformation, and received the Authority's certificate of appreciation.
