1. Who We Are

Avano Technologies ("Avano", "we", "us") operates an AI-powered intelligent OS for mobility businesses. Our registered office is in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. When you use Avano AI, you trust us with information — this policy explains how we handle it.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information in three ways:

• Information you provide — company name, trade license, contact details, user account credentials, and business configuration you enter when setting up your account.
• Operational data — booking records, fleet activity, customer interactions, and service usage data generated through your use of Avano AI.
• Customer data you process — personal information about your end-customers (names, IDs, contact details, documents) that you upload or that flows through Avano AI on your behalf. You remain the data controller for this information; Avano processes it only as your data processor.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide, operate, and improve Avano AI and its features.
• To power our AI systems, including training and improving our models using patterns and signals derived from system activity.
• To generate aggregated, anonymized, and derived insights about fleet operations, mobility trends, and market patterns — none of which identify you or your customers individually.
• To communicate with you about your account, updates, and new features.
• To meet our legal and regulatory obligations under applicable UAE law.

4. Aggregated and Derived Data

By using Avano, you acknowledge that Avano may use aggregated, anonymized, and derived data — statistical patterns, behavioral signals, and operational intelligence that cannot identify any individual person or business — to develop products, improve our AI systems, publish market research, and create industry intelligence services. This data forms part of Avano's proprietary intelligence layer and is a core part of the value we deliver to the broader mobility ecosystem.

We do not sell your personal data or your customers' personal data to any third party.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade personal data. We may share information with:

• Trusted infrastructure partners — we use established infrastructure partners to operate our system. These partners access only what is strictly necessary to deliver the service and are contractually bound to protect your data. They are not permitted to use your data for their own purposes.
• Regulatory authorities — where required by UAE law, including RTA and other relevant government bodies.
• Business transfers — in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, data may be transferred as part of that transaction.

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (TLS), access controls, and regular security reviews. No system is perfectly secure, but we take your data's protection seriously and will notify you of any material breach as required by law.

7. Data Retention

We retain personal data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period thereafter to meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Anonymized and derived data may be retained indefinitely.

8. Your Rights

Under UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 (Personal Data Protection Law), you have rights including access to your data, correction of inaccuracies, and deletion of personal data where legally permitted. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@avanoai.ai.

Deletion requests will be honored where legally permitted. We may retain minimal identifying information — such as a reference number and blacklist status — where necessary to protect the safety of our system and other users, in accordance with Article 14(2) of UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021.

9. Data Processing Agreement

By registering as an operator, you enter into a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) with Avano. Under this agreement: (a) you are the Data Controller for your end-customer personal data; (b) Avano is the Data Processor acting on your documented instructions; (c) Avano will process that data only for the purposes of providing the system services; and (d) both parties will comply with applicable UAE data protection law. The DPA forms part of your agreement with Avano.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or an in-system notice at least 14 days before they take effect.
